It's hard to tell, TD, but it very well could be.  Since the straight-winged two-seater continued in production until January or so of 1944, and continued in service perhaps until the end of the war, many of them would have been painted (or re-painted) in the three-colour scheme.  (Thank you for finding the video, Barney!)

I think it's an arrow, because the rear wing edge has a discontinued angulation.

He was quite the musician based off of his book. He makes no mention of being filmed though for a propaganda clip.

Maybe that dubbed music is the reason why - he didn't want to be associated with it!

Hi,
here are two other photos attributed to the plane of Emeljanenko.




I suppose that it was another plane: the  number 100 is not visible, and one can see a slogan 'za...' absent on the more famous plane with the music. However, one can see also the white band on the fuselage anyway.
