Hi,
he is a link to archive of the 51st Mine-torpedo regiment http://www.bellabs.ru/51/Photos/_Equipment.html#Part01.
It is in Russian, but here is a lot of photos and color profiles of A-20G Bostons, torpedo details etc.
I appologize if already posted somewhere here.

Note how visible is original USAF insignia (with white bars on the sides and blue outline) repainted still in US to "transport marking", e.g. red star in white circle, which finally was repainted in SU with green (AMT-4) and red star "updated" to late war standard.

Hi Misos,
beautiful page indeed, rich of images and of comments.
I wonder if the recent kit of Revell is good enough.

Is the Revell kit new or just a re-release of the old Matchbox kit?

Hi Jason,

http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21879-148-revell-a-20-havoc/

...It's the "old" but rather nice AMT kit, but with some nice nose art...

You might also like to consider the recent and very nice 1/72 MPM kit, available in a number of boxings (and labels) including a Soviet A-20G.  Not I think with the modified nose, but then neither has the 1/48 kit.

There is a substantial post on the Soviet Boston here - http://sovietwarplanes.com/board/index.php?topic=1007.0

4 pages, comments on markings, decals,  drawings of torpedo rack and rear navigator position, fitting of Soviet turrets etc.

That's the one I'd like to get, but it's a bit pricey (at least under the MPM label). Still, I'll probably pick one up anyway, eventually.
