Hi to all! i hope this is the right place for my question Smiley
i have a zts-plastyk mig-21 mf (incidentally not a good model, but not a very bad one) for a plane of 582 IAP based in poland ("yellow 40"): instruction suggest a color scheme, and colored back of box another one... there are some photos of this particular plane?
thank you for help, and bye!

Hi DDR,
could you post scans of both the images, please? Unfortunately my knowledge of MiG-21 is very dated, but I could try.

i haven't a scanner with me, for now... but images are theese (from model-making.eu):
http://www.model-making.eu/zdjecia/3/8/2/1613_2_PLK035_1.jpg without references, but seem different from istruction, and more "familiar" to me (something like a tan, a dark green and a brown)
and http://www.model-making.eu/zdjecia/8/7/2/1613_2_PLK035_3.jpg
A= leather (humbrol 62)
B= marine green 34097 (humbrol 105)
C= light blue 35414 (humbrol 65)
D= emerald (humbrol 2)
F= radome green (humbrol 3)
G= gumetal
bye!

Hi Francesco,
emerald? Very strange. I wonder if their photo was in black and white.
I'll look, but few hopes. It is likely that a photo of 1989 is on some magazines instead of the web.
For what I remember of magazines of the late '80s, may Soviet planes (MiG-21, 23, 29, Su-22) had a 4 colors camo (light green, dark green, sand or tan, chocolat) or simplified versions of it.

Regards
Massimo
