I built this model in 2008. I found this scheme in the Eduard kit's instructions and used the decals from that kit on this one.  I decided to go radical and paint it in "home brew" colors that were based on the best info available at the time.











My skills have improved a bit since then. Huh I also learned that the thing on the spinner isn't a cannon. Tongue

Very nice Il-2! The colours look quite good. You've probably learned by now that there were no panel lines on the rear fuselage of two-seater Il-2's during the GPW, as the rear fuselages were made of wood, with a smooth finish.
