Hi Aleksandar,
this plane was photographed many times.
Please see http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/mig3/rough28.html
I'm nearly sure that it was camouflaged.

Foiled again!
I also suspected that plane, really interesting how demarcation lines completely disappear under certain light...
Thanks for the swift reply, the quest continues...  Grin

I believed it was all-green too! As you say, the aircraft was photographed many times, and I was just about to upload five more photos to PostImage.org, so thank you for saving me the trouble... Wink

Hi Aleksandar and John,
there is a photo of a (possibly) all-green late miG-3 on Istrebitel MiG-3 of Medvedev, Hazanov, Maslov at pag.110, but I think that it's a repainting, with large stars. Unfortunately, eventual numbers are not visible, possibly being hidden by the pilot or cropped. If you want, I can scan and upload it, but it's not good for a model.
Some all green late MiG-3 are drawn here, http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/mig3/colors5.html, but there is the doubt, anyway, that the interpretation could have been misleaded by an unclear photo.
Regards
Massimo
