Hi,
here is Major Vasilii Maksimenko, commander of 88 IAP/159 GIAP, with a gift LaGG-3 received in early 1944.




Now I wonder, is any other image of this plane (or of other planes of the same unit) known? If I remember well, there exists a photo of a LaGG-3 with an anchor on its tail, and a profile of Bykov showing as if the images were of the same plane.
Am I wrong? Is there a base for this assumption?
