Hello,

Here are the last 2 models finished in "profipack" version and Ultracast seat with harness. I decide to keep the USAAF radio system in the cockpit of the P-39N.

P-39N "Airacobra", white 2, flown by major Nikolai D. Gulayev, 129 Gv.IAP, 205 IAD, 2 Ukrainian front, probably late summer 1944.

P-39K-1-BE "Airacobra" SN42-4421, white 13 (the number worn when she arrived in the unit), flown by kapitan Alexandr I. Pokryshkin, 16 Gv.IAP, 216 SAD over Kuban during Spring 1943.

I hope you'll enjoy, cheers
Steph.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Hi Steph,
very nice Cobras. Shocked
I only have doubts about blue discs on Gulajev's Cobra. It is from August 1944 and that time (since July 1943) USAF already used disc with side bars. So there could be either white or green disc. However, I did not find the photo that could confirm or deny it.

They both look really great, well built and well finished, I hope one day to build a Soviet P-39, I have a Special Hobby 1/32 scale kit in the stash and the Zotz decals for it.

Cheers

Dennis
