Happy Christmas All, and New Year too!

Were some -7's painted in two greys according to the template?  Having dug out the Yak Aces book,
I noticed the photo of the two-seater Yak-7, silver 39 of the 15 MRAP, looks to be in the aforementioned
scheme while the other photo of it in the Red Stars is rather nondescript, and the profile drawing therein
indicating the more typical black and green.  After noticing that, I looked again at the Red Stars photos
of Pokryshev's Yak-7 in the museum, one from the left rear akin to the photo of '39' looking like it could
be black and green.  However, the other from the left front with the light shining on it, it looks like photos
of  Yak-9's  elsewhere in the reference section of this site showing the contrasting grey colors which
EP may have mistaken for a desert scheme for VVS aircraft.
So, what say you experts?  Could it be possible that silver 39 is in fact in the template two-grey scheme?

Thanks for your time, and again, Happy Christmas!

Hi,
could you post some images of the plane of which you are asking, please?
It would be good to copy and paste the question on the alternative forum too, because this one could disappear soon.
Regards
Massimo
