A few photographs of Tupolev SB pieces held at Ilmatorjuntamuseo ("Anti-Aircraft Museum") at Tuusula, Finland. Their current exhibition also contains the MiG-3, the P-39Q and an elevator from I-16. The Tupolev belonged to 35 SBAP and shot down over Helsinki on 1 December 1939. The photographs were taken with bounced flash and were corrected for the white balance. However, the colour might not be exactly correct due to the lack of colour calibration device and reflections from the glass and the dust.

Historical photograph of the tail of the same plane is from sa-kuva.fi (N:o 1534).

Hi,
interesting, thank you for sharing.
Is the piece of fabric with the red star from the skinning of some Polikarpov?

Yes, I think it is, but it wasn't labeled in any way in the exhibition.

Here's the elevator from I-16, or at least I think it is as it wasn't labeled in any way.

Hi,
I think that the elevator is from a MiG-3, possibly 'red 1'.

There were also some other elevator pieces being displayed next to the "Red 1":

thanks Mangrove to share those very interesting pics.
I am working on a I-153 and the aspect of the AII alu does interest me.
The mig-3 pics are very interesting too for AII green and blue...
