Hi, Smiley
it looks very good. But 79 ?... too much for me. I hope that Zvezda will be cheaper.
The starter truck is a very nice addition.

Impressive!  Shocked
Anyway, I will wait for the Mikulin in-line engines version.
Be careful, since some kits of the first production batch apparently got the nose clear part sprue replaced for the other (polar) version. Check your kit before buying (all kits at Modelimex should be OK ,though).
The kit is rather pricey here, so try to make an exchange with your eastern friends if you can (the price in Russia is about halve compared to the "western" prices).

Cheers,
Libor

Hi, Smiley
Are there two versions, both of Amodel?

Hi Massimo,

Not yet, at the moment there is only the M-82 version on the market. But looking at the engine cowling sprues, the the AM-35 version should come as well, otherwise such molds surgery would not make sense. I think they will? also release an "arctic" (post-war?) version.
I 've heard of Zvezda kit too, but no news on it so far.

Cheers,
Libor

Zvezda 1/72 Pe-8 now in stock at Hannants:
http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=ZVE7264

Still shown as "Future Release/Pre-order" at Modelimex, but when it arrives in stock, this will be the best place to see sprue images:

Not a bad price for such a large kit - *much* less expensive than the Amodel Pe-8:

Hi John, Smiley
less than 18 ?? Cheap enough. Not as cheap as some Revell releases, but this price is very friendly.
