EDIT: This is screenshot from the doc film about Yak that I found at Youtube:


The white trailing edge of the rudder reminds me the same marking on La-5NF from the photo of Popkov with his plane:

Hi Misos,
very interesting images. My impression is that the plane is a Yak-3.
I think that photos of the same plane is shown on the book of EP  pag.199. If so, the whole number is '94'.

am I wrong or the upper profile of the nose is unusually concave? Could this be due to some photo retouch?
