Hi Misos,
looks very nice.
The photo of the nose puts into evidence the change in section between the reductor zone and the cylinder banks zone where it is more squared. Maybe the highlighting of the fuselage could put into evidence this thing in some way?

Hi Massimo, thank you for comment. I reworked shining on the nose according to the some photos (not very good) I have found on he net. It definitely looks different from the noses on Yak-9x. I already replaced picture in my post above. Here is the view from the right side:  Regards, 66misos |

Hi Misos,
I would raise the lower outline of the highlight up to over the panel line in the exhaust area to show that the part is nearly flat, it could descend in the reduction gear area to show the section becoming round.
I must admit that I haven't compared it to other Yaks, but I would be surprised if they were different.

This looking great, I have to resist the urge to start building my Special Hobby 1/32 scale Yak-3, but when I do these drawings will be very useful.

beautiful drawing indeed. Only, the canopy has a foggy look, but I suppose that it is a choice to save work.

good work. Just, I don't see reasons why the cooler flap and the tail wheel area should be darker than other parts.

Hi Massimo, those dark areas is my interpretation of the curved undersurfaces - check the side view. I checked it on my 1/48 Yak-1 nad Yak-3 kits - when the sun is on 10-11 o'clock and some 45° above then the shadows looks like that. May be not 100% correct, but it is my vision.
