Hi Massimo,
EDIT: corrected profile:

Regards,
   66misos

Hello misos. My compliments for the very nice profile. Since I am trying to build Ermokhin's Yak-3 in 1/72 scale, I am very interested in your work. I do have a question for you though. To your knowledge, was the white heart with the eagle depicted on both sides pf the fuselage or only on the left ?

Regards

Hi Plator,

thank you, I am glad you like the profile  Smiley
Unfortunately, I do not know photo of this plane from the other side. However, planes with such "complicated/advanced" personal graphics are often, or almost exclusively photographed only from one side. It could mean that there was nothing interesting on the other side, but it is only my guess. I personally would put it only on one side.
Happy modelling.

Hi, great work, but the white one at the nose is the case. The spinner should be red , but it's covered by the case.

Hi PG monster,
thank you for comment. Do you mean the red prop spinner like here http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/board/index.php?topic=2336.msg20638#msg20638?

Hi all,
the Yak-3 page on the site has been reordered and has a gallery with all the profiles of Misos, the relative photos and comments.

Hi,
here is Yak-3 from 18 giap, 303 iad, Germany, spring 1945:

Discussion about this plane was at http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/board/index.php?topic=2483.0

Photos are from http://ava.org.ru/iap/18g.htm:

For comparison - here is board number and lightning white:

Hi Misos,
in my idea, the bolt has a forked tail, and a bit of dark grey under it.  The grey-grey division on the rudder should be nearly horizontal.

Hi Massimo,
I will correct that rudder.
However, I do not see forked tail of the bold, but only one slash along the entire width of the lightning. It looks more like some blotch - some primer or repair at the lower part of the lightning end:
