Hi,
look at the twin engined plane.

Is this a DC-2 or DC-3, in your idea? It doesn't seem a Li-2.

I'm going way out on a limb (where I usually am) and say DC-3. The landing light is located in the wing, whereas the DC-2 had two in the nose, and the cowling shape may be slightly different. Next contestant? Wink

Merry Christmas, Massimo!

Hi John,
I think you're right. The rudder is different from that of DC-2, and I have three further photos of DC-3 in similar livery.

Merry Christmas to you too

This is early DC-3 (look at the fin shape and first of all rounded, wider fuselage - what is the main difference). What is similar to DC 2 are 9 cylinder Wright Cyclone (or their Russian copy) engines (as Li-2). Such livery was in Khalkin-go war. The landing lamps in wings are not specific - the late DC2, so called DC 2 K has already landing lamps in wings.
Cheers
