hello
a pleasant news to Mig-3 lovers.
Based on the information on AIF board (Russian) there was tested freshly built Mig-3 with Alison engine. This picture was made during testing at LII.
Here is the picture reposted:





It was mentioned that this Mig-3 is bought by Flying Factory (Virginia) and will be delivered over there in October.
So, dear friends in USA please keep tracking this a/c and perhaps you will be lucky to make a nice w/a of it.

thank you for posting these images.
On my book, a small image of this plane is described as a modification of the one shown at MAKS 2005, but now it's clear that this is wrong and n.17 is a wholly new plane.
