I've made an update work on the page on I-16 types. All the previous line drawings have been replaced with color drawings representing a typical example of the type without codes or individual characteristics. http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/i16/i16types.htmFor color profiles, I'll start to do this work massively in the future, probably on next fall. Before this, I have to draw some layers as propellers without spinner, landing gears without doors , skis, tanks and similar things. Now there is still a page on DC-3/C-47/Li-2 with drawings of Tapani that is waiting to be completed and updated on the next future. Regards Massimo |

Wow - that looks great, Massimo! I've been looking at the I-16 pages a lot recently - I've been doing several I-16s by converting the Amodel UTI-4, believe it or not. Thank you very much for all your hard work - the results are amazing. You should be proud that this is the number one non-Russian site for VVS information; in fact, it might be number one, worldwide!

Massimo, I too appreciate all the fine research and work you've done on VVS aeroplanes! I often use this site as a resource both for my models and my books (in my Soviet GPW books, I always list it as an online resource).

Hi Anton,
thank you for your kind words. I had excellent help to make this. I hope to restart it in January or February, now I have the templates and can easily draw some color profiles. The layers of propellers and landing gears without covers are still missing, that will be a work to do.
For now, I've uploaded all the pages on A-20 but in provisional form, many corrections will be necessary before calling them ready.
