Hi John,
thank you for sharing it. I hope that there will be kits of earlier variants too, but I am not sure because there are subtle differences in the most part of the pieces.

That might be possible, but wait and see - the Nuremberg show is only a few days away; maybe they'll make an announcement then. I thought 2019, with two Yak-1B kits released, was a very good year; it looks like 2020 might be even better - Su-25, La-5 and LaGG-3 from Clear Prop, 1/48 La-9 and La-11 from Ark, La-5, La-5F, and a retooled La-5FN from KP; maybe even the 1/72 R-5 from AMG? Finally kit manufacturers might be giving VVS aviation the attention it hasn't had since 15 - 20 years ago, when Dakoplast, Toko, and ICM were cranking out new kits like crazy.
