hello Jan
I am not addvertising not at all, but can recommend a Russian issue on Il-2 and Il-10 from a series "Voina vozduhe".
You can observe it via links below.

Part 1: illustrations http://www.wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/AirWar/07/Pictures/page_01.htm

Part 2: illustrations http://www.wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/AirWar/08/Pictures/page_01.htm

If you got one step back in those webpages, you would find the text of those issues, in Russian.

As well you can find more issues on Il-10 and others on the link http://www.bronarm.ru/forum//index.php?showforum=34
but you should register first to get an access.

Hi Jan, Smiley
I'm very interested in a decals sheet for Russian Il-10.
Audrius has already posted a link for color profiles from that monograph, it should include 4 profiles for ww2 camouflaged planes and the silver one you needed.
There is some uncertainty about the camo scheme: the Russian profiles show green/dark brown scheme, while I am suspecting that it utilized a variation of the standard three-shade camouflage for Il-2s.
To tell the truth, only some of the available photos support a 3-shade camo, while the other ones give the idea of two-shade, but the darker bands look the same.
All what I know, including all photos and my deductions, is at the link below.
http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/il10/camoww2/camoww2.htm

A possible explanation could be found here
http://vvs.hobbyvista.com/Camouflage/NKAP_Template2.php
because the use of darker AX-M colors could mask the difference in shade, well visible with AMT paints.

I would be glad to find more on this topic, a camouflaged Il-10 would be one of my favorites.

I do have a photo of Il-10 from 1945 232 ShAP, But it is still not clear to me wether it is of a single-color or if it has some cammo... Still, most likely single-color

Hi, Smiley
Could I see this photo, please? I won't publish it if you don't want.

Hi Oleg, Smiley
I've received the image. Thank you very much. It is camouflaged, I am sure, but I can't say if there are two shades or three with low contrast. I'll look the image with more attention and I'll add it to the page on Il-10 soon, if you agree.
Do you know any veteran of the unit? Is it possible to ask to him, please?

I know 2 vets from this unit, but they both can't remember the color. Not to blame them - they both are older then 80 years now. Tne spinner was of supposedly red color. Original photo was of a very small size. I'll translate the interviews with them when i'll have free time, but that is not to be done soon... They are available in Russian, though. You can put the image on the display. If someone wants to use it - it's free but only after my permission.

2-d one was the closest, but coloring is off - more dim ones should be used.

Hi Oleg,  Smiley
I've sent to you lighter versions of the 1st and 2nd profile. Please, let me know what the veterans think of them.

Hi Jan, Smiley
have a look to this link, please.http://www.wunderwaffe.narod.ru/Magazine/AK/index.htm
The work on Il-10 is divided in 2 parts: Aviakollectia 5/2004 and 1/2005. In all, 18 profiles, included 4 comouflaged ones and the silver one.
