At this point, a man in a red jacket says that he is looking at the plane right now, and begins to doubt, here he mentions about the disputes on the Internet about what color planes are white or silver in winter. He knows that the plane is painted white, but looks like painted with silver.

Beautiful big  models! I'm interested to see  this movie.

This studio has already produced one (also publicly-funded) war film - "The 28 Panfilovites".
Available in full HERE, I find it to be almost flawless from technical and historical point of view,
albeit with a bit formulaic story (stereotypical undeveloped characters showing pictures of their girls/wives and similar cliches)

These guys are very dedicated to filming as much as possible with practical props and effects; so as long as they don't steer the story into a shallow romantic melodrama
(such as in 'Battle of Sevastopol' and many others), I think they'll be onto a winner.

I've seen some scenes of this movie, looks well made.  Well, if it has 28 protagonists, I am not surprised that they are underdeveloped.

That is the problem of trying to represent many characters equally. Then no one gets proper representation.
IMHO, it could have been better if they approached it in a 'Band-of-Brothers' style - focusing on 2-4 characters from the company and developing them properly, thus making them stick in Your memory.

Still a great movie tho, one of my favorite modern Russian war movies (besides 'White Tiger')

Still interested to see how this combination of CGI and practical models will turn out.
