Hi All, I am working on a page about A-20 in Soviet service with the profiles of Tapani, with the help of Righidan and Alex Ruchkovsky. For now, I have a provisional page with the versions of the DB-7/Havoc/Boston/A-20 in general, just to make an idea of the evolution of the plane before entering in the specific of Soviet service. It is here: https://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/lendlease/a-20/a20general/a-20general.htmPlease, let me know if you see something to correct or to add. In particular, I am uncertain on the identification of some British versions. Regards Massimo

Great addition. Although I'm aiming to do a stock USAAF A-20C myself, a lot of information You uploaded will be of use for me anyway.

Great to see this work Massimo, and looking forward to more of Tapani's profiles.

Hi Psy, thank you, the photos show an A-20B with Gnejs-2 radar. I am just looking for photos of planes with this radar, I already have those of Red Stars 4 and few more. In particular, I have drawings but no photos of A-20G-1 with Gnejs-2. The plane on Red Stars 4 has Gnejs-3. I know that a profile do exist, but I don't know if the serials were guessed.

Correction: the second photo is of an A-20B, the first one an A-20 A, C or a Boston III.

Interesting, thank you. It is not a Gnejs-2, but another unknown type of radar.

Or, perhaps struts from the building on the background are joking me? To tell the truth, I can't see the thin aerials of the Gnejs-2 on this photo.

It really doesn't look like any kind of radar. Although I can easily be convinced that the angled struts are part of the hangar structure, the horizontal ones are less obvious in this role. However it would be a remarkable coincidence that the lines of all these items line up so well with the hangar structure. I think it a standard A-20G.

This is a photo from the technical description of Gneiss-2, the antennas are where they should be, they are simply seen very poorly
