Cool start, but A-20Zh is not good name in latinic. A-20G -> А-20Ж (cyrillic) -> A-20Zh (double transliteration).
I think A-20G is better.

I mean when you see А-20Ж in Russian docs, that means A-20G, because there arent latin letters at the typewriter.

Hi all,
the page on A-20/Boston III is on line at http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/lendlease/a-20/a-20.htm.   The page is rather wide, I am thinking just to add a gallery of details for modellistic use and few more.
Here is just a sample:

Please, have a look and let me know your feedbacks.

Regards
Massimo

heh, I found A-20G number 9 at two my pages, thank you for pointing to my mistake.
Possible sign system of 218 bad: 48 bap - red caps, 452 bap - white caps, 453 bap - blue caps with white outline.
So, A-20G number 9 is from 452 bap.

Massimo, your typos :
GMTAB (must be GMTAP)
325 orap (must be 325 orae)

Well done Massimo & Tapani!
These pages on the Soviet A-20/Boston are quite exciting, and shed a lot of light on a little known and treated subject.
I would like to add a few details on the type B planes white 25 and white 15.
These two planes were flown by the same crew: pilot, guard lieutenant Alexander Mikhailovich Suchkov, navigator, guard junior lieutenant Alexey Nikolaevich Shalyutin, radio operator, guard sergeant Ivan Iosifovich Mikhailov, gunner, guard sergeant Ilya Arsentievich Popugaev.
Among the millions of pages digitized in the site Pamyat naroda, you can find the combat log of 221 BAD.
The first page is a rather futuristic color drawing of an A-20, and at page 106 you can find this famous photo:

It represents white 15, an A-20B-DL, serial number 41-3522, construction number 5852.
The captions says something like that on 15/12/1943 the crew of Lieutenant Suchkov conducted reconnaissance of enemy troops in the area of Korotkovichi, when they were attacked by six Me-109.   The crew repulsed the enemy attacks, and the plane was damaged to the point of being almost uncontrollable, but the pilot completed his mission and brought the plane back at his airport.   For his courage and determination, the pilot was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree.
White 25 is the plane flown by the same crew in middle 1944, and after fighting with success six Me-109, I believe that they could rightly put a lion on their new plane!
As Massimo site is a treasure cave, to find a description and photos of this second plane, you have only to go to: Lend-lease planes > neat nose art on A-20B "Boston" 3rd Sq, 8th Guards Bomber Aviation Regt. http://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/board/index.php?topic=1472.0 where you will find a third photo of white 25, and a more detailed description of the awards and mission.
Now Mr. Troy Smith has a profile of his favorite A-20.
Regards
Daniele

Thank you very much Daniele, now I have puntualized that both planes were of the same crew and inverted the order. Excellent research indeed.

New photo of cool "lion vs gebbels" battle here - http://ava.org.ru/bap/63.htm
Also, AR pointed the error: A20 number 12-8 is from 63 BAP, not 367.  367 BAP had not A20 at all.
