Real gold mine. Some pics are from valuable angles.
There are also some pics of ANT-25, Yak-9U, Tu-2 and other from nice angles and small distances
The best ones are for SB-2 (under ANT-40) !

that's actually an early production Yak-9P , not a Yak-9U.
however, your confusion is understandable as it features the wooden rear fuselage of the Yak-9U.
the first 29 or 30 were built this way and the remainder were all-metal.

Heh, thanks for your kind words. You are assuming that I know that much about Yak-9 
Obviously, Yak's are your field. Thanks for explanation. I'll rename downloaded pics ASAP.

That La-7 looks fantastic! Why oh why can't one be restored to flying condition?! They must have the Ash-82 or equivalent engines. I wonder if there are some wrecks lying undiscovered that may provide parts...

Yes, thanks, Dave; there's another thread somewhere where I posted those myself, but I figure the more they get posted, the more people will have the opportunity to enjoy them!
