Polikarpov Seat - Pavla

Does anyone know which Polikarpov aircraft used this seat, as presented in 1/72 resin by Pavla:

Are there any photos which show this seat in the cockpit of those aircraft? I don't think I've seen a seat which looks like this in any 1/72 kit.

It looks like the unarmored seat used in the I-152 (I-15 bis).But I?m not so sure,greetings:

Thanks, Martin! I tried doing a search for I-16 cockpit images or anything else that might be helpful, but found very little. I did see images of 1/32 (Contact Resine) and 1/48 (NeOmega) resin sets for the I-16. The 1/32 set has a typical seat with a rounded back; the 1/48 set appears to have the narrow back, like the Pavla seat I linked above. Now I see that the Azur 1/32 kit seat has the narrow back, too:

More investigation needed, I guess!

As a matter of fact,I?ve never found a photo of the I-16 seat.But there is a drawing of it in Maslov?s book and it don?t looks like the Pavla?s in 72.In my opinion,the rounded back is the armored plate and should be separated from the seat.Greetings:

Hi all,

Well, first of all, Pavla's seat is the same one the comes with their I-15:

It looks like Pavla's seat depicts one with(out) two details: first one, there is no headrest, and the second one - a bit unusual - is that the seat is "naked", ie without back cushion. The second detail is kinda cool, but you have to build rather complicated cushion on your own.

Thanks once again, Renato! If my brain wasn't totally mush, I would have associated the Pavla seat with the Pavla I-15 kit, which I do have. Thanks for waking me up!
