I'm sorry for double-posting this, but I really want people to see it! Maybe the stress of the holiday season is making me weird? No, I was already that way. Personally, I'd rather look at VVS aircraft videos than "Mackenzie", or whatever her name is, so maybe that proves it. Anyway, here's the link again for the video page I posted elsewhere:
http://haeldar.diinoweb.com/files/

Again, my apologies, but I really think this is AMAZING - downloadable videos of genuine, original, VVS GPW aircraft training films! No Yaks, unfortunately, but here you have:
La-5
La-7
Pe-2
Tu-2
SB
Il-2
Il-4
Il-10
Tomashyevich Pegas!!!

Call this my Christmas gift to all VVS forumites!? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy!!! (That's "HO HO HO!!!" in Smilese...)

although Mckenzie is a beautiful lady this is an aviation forum ,not an Internet porn server.

for those of you interested in the Lavochkin La-7 there is some nice footage of? a machine with a tactical number 16 that is a three-gun La-7 and I am not sure but there might have been a second one there too.
(couldn't tell as if flew by too fast)

Hi John Smiley
Looks interesting, thank you for posting.  At present time I haven't an ADSL connection, but soon...
I have the most of these subjects on a pair of videotapes, but some, as Il-10, are new for me.

About spam ladies... well, I delete these post as I see them, but I can't be always connected.

Hi DGM and Massimo!  Smiley A very merry Christmas to both of you! Now that I've had a chance to check some of the videos on that page, it turns out that the Il-2 film is different from the one posted elsewhere as Il-2_instr or something like that. A question that nags at me occasionally is that whole issue of La-5 cowling shapes - with the La-5 video, there's a sequence at about the 10:15 mark where a La-5F (a/c No.66) is banking away from the camera and you can see a clear plan view of the aircraft, if you're quick enough to pause the video at that point. I was able to capture a good frame, and, with a bit of adjustment of the brightness, it can be seen that the La-5F had straight (or at least, bulged but not tapered) cowling side panels. Not that I doubted Massimo's excellent article on this subject, but it's always interesting to find new ways of proving it!
