What are you looking for, exactly? Searching with Google, using Amtorg GST, turns up a few things, but I'm guessing you tried that already. The GST was a licence-built Russian version of the Consolidated PBY-1 with Tumanskii radial engines (it says!), but I'm sure there must have been other differences. Unfortunately, even Gunston's "Osprey Encyclopedia of Russian Aircraft 1875 - 1995" doesn't have very much information on this aircraft. He does mention 2 - 3 UBT machine guns as armament, and provision for up to 3 tonnes of underwing stores.

Welcome to the forum, by the way!

How about this? Seems pretty detailed.

Photo of engine cowling faces, etc.:

Maybe try a search in Russian Cyrillic text?

That looks like a ShKAS in the nose turret.

Thanks a lot...this photo is new to me...and yes, i  turned google upside down to find anything.
Also  i cannot seem to find  if  "civilian" GSTs were used  in  patrol duty, or  were they pressed into
naval  arsenal...

This is cry for help.I desperatley need  any resource, photos or data considering  GST  in Soviet service.

Two-part text about Soviet Catalinas by V. Kotelnikov appeared in the Model Aircraft Monthly magazine!  Recommended...  If you can't find those magazines I'll send you scans.

Volume 6, Issue 2 - February 2007
Soviet Catalinas
Part One: Catalinas from Taganrog
by Vladimir Kotelnikov
Describes the history and use of US and Soviet license-built Model 28 PBY-1 Catalinas in Soviet service, with colour profiles by Andrey Yurgenson

Volume 6, Issue 3 - March 2007
Soviet Catalinas
Part Two: Lend-Lease PBYs
by Vladimir Kotelnikov
Concludes his history and use of US and Soviet license-built Catalinas in Soviet service, with colour profiles by Andrey Yurgenson

Cheers,
KL
