It's a 1/72 I-16 type 6 from Amodel; although I'd love for it to be a new mold, it'll probably be another reissue of the old Amodel I-16, with a new decal sheet. I can hope, though!

1/72 Grumman F8F Bearcat - yes, I know, not a VVS type, but it's from a new manufacturer called Art Model. No indication whether it's a new mold or possibly a reissue of a Sword kit, but that's not the point. Whenever I see a new manufacturer, my hope is always that they will do a 1/72 I-153 or Yak-1b, or maybe even a brand new I-16 type 5!

1/72 Bf-109B (Ugh!), from Avis - posted here only because, considering Avis seems to be specializing in kits of aircraft from the late 1930's, maybe they will produce the I-153 and I-16 type 5 some day!

Might I suggest a F8 Bearcat in what-if VVS markings as a remedy?

I was thinking of getting the AS-2 in 1/72 , but now that it will be in 1/48 I'll get that instead.
it would look great with an Eduard I-16 or Classic Airframes I-153 !

I wonder if they will do one of the BZ series of Fuel Trucks....
