Discovered they have resin fuselage sets for the Yak-9. Has anyone used them in fixing the poor ICM kits and where I can buy them? Thanks.

For what it's worth, here are reviews of the Yak-7 and Yak-9 fuselage corrections:
http://www.kitreview.com/reviews/yak7correctionreviewbg_1.htm
http://acc.kitreview.com/yak9correctionreviewbg_1.htm

Note that these reviews were written in 2002 and 2003, so it's going to be hard to find these limited-production sets still in stock at a hobby shop, real or on-line, but you never know - you could be lucky! Otherwise, it's ebay or post a request on the forums and hope to find someone who has them and is willing to sell. Good luck!

Thanks John. I sent them an email. Would be nice if Hasegawa or Tamiya would give us some nice Yaks, eh? Dreaming.

Hi, Smiley
I still have the email of the owner of Gremlinmodels. If you want, I can send it to you by email, so you can ask to him.

I don't know if this helps, but there are a couple left in a local Hobby shop in Serbia...

Yes, you're right - I keep begging for a new, accurate Yak-1b in 1/72 scale, but it's probably hopeless!  Cry
