A beautiful model! I was interested to read that he used the main landing gear from the Eduard La-7. The landing gear in the Toko/Roden LaGG-3 is the worst part of a very nice kit - it looks like something from a child's toy. I'm really looking forward to the new 1/72 LaGG-3 decal sheet from Authentic that's supposed to be released in March!

Yes , I also think that is a very nice model.
in fact I have given some consideration to to doing the same plane in 1/48th.
