I admit to downloading a few things from it, although most (all?) of what's on there is copyrighted material. It's actually a forum for people to post the URLs for download sites where they've posted the documents themselves; the documents are not actually posted at Farposst. Unfortunately, I know of at least one forum where the text "Farposst.ru" is automatically changed to something like "Copyright violation!", or words to that effect.

The URLs are someimes obsolete; I haven't checked the ones on this page because I already have a copy of the original publication - I just offer it as an example.

Note that you have to copy and paste the URL into your browser's address window, though - the addresses are not "live".

To paraphrase Hunter S. Thompson, "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, insanity, or theft of intellectual property to anyone, but they've always worked for me".

I would avoid farposst alltogether!!!  It was known as a source of malware, spayware etc.

Downloads (out of print books ) are available on many other, much safer, websites.

I never encountered any problems concerning Malware but thanks for the warnings.

It's as I wrote it, except that I added the phrase, "theft of intellectual property", since that's what I could be accused of advocating by promoting a web site whose name is synonymous with "Copyright violation". In fact, I suspect if one looked for it, one could probably find a link to a digital ripoff of our host's excellent Mushroom Press MiG-3 book...
