Please, let's avoid too many personal criticisms to other people. Discussion on coloring of planes of seventy years ago hasn't to be taken too emotionally.

They say that eyes are the windows to the soul. Check the Mazan's Yak eyes and compare them to eyes found on P-40's (and other aircraft for that matter). Looks more like a wolf eyes and are way more serious.

AVG P-40 eyes seem to me to have a blank, expressionless look, but on the other hand, so do the eyes of a real shark! (Perhaps sharks have no souls...)

Agreed.  Let's at least keep the jabs above the belt and diplomatic.  There is an old saying where I am from - you attract more bees with honey than with vinegar.   Wink
