Nice image. To tell the truth, even admitting that it was really painted so, I don't think that it flew with these colors.

The I-15bis looks to show numbers similar to the MiG-3, so I think that they were painted by the same people. Perhaps some show at the war's end... or a joke.

The caption refers to "Air Force Pacific Fleet", if that means anything. The photos remind me a bit of the experimental camouflage tested on some LaGG-3s or I-16s. I like the shot of the I-15bis on skis!
