This table reports the indicative shades of the colors of Soviet Air Force in use in 1935-1947. Some of the colors are well documented, other ones are the result of our mediation or our choice between contrasting sources; other ones are guessed on the base of few informations available.

About the matches to the ranges of producer of paints for modeling: if the producer offers an apposite paint, we have reported it (eventually with another one suggested if the offer doesn't seem convincing); other matches and mixes are result from experience of some modelers oin which there is some consensus; we can't assure that they are perfectly exact nor perfectly coherent with the shades suggested by other producers. Anyway we are working to improve the table.

Should you be able to do better, please let us know your suggestions on the forum.
