Drawing by Tapani Tuomanen

I-153 n.4 is drawn from this photo. It seems to show a plane with M-63 engine and typical AII green/AII light blue prewar livery. An interesting visual characteristic is the couple of thin white longitudinal bands visible on the upper wing leading edge.

The plane has a small radio mast on the tail, clearly visible, and probably the mast on the wing and the wires, although not clearly visible on the image. The bomb racks can be seen under the lower wing.

A closer image, although partial, shows better the shape of the number.
