Il-2M Red 11 of 237th ShAP lost due to a ground collision with an UTI-4 in February 1943.

The camo pattern is hidden by the white winter finish, but the position of the stars suggests a plane built in Zavod 1 (or, as a second choice, on Zavod 30; surely not in Zavod 18) with wooden wings.

The long size of the last, fixed part of the tunnel canopy confirms that the plane isn't of Z.18 and so it has certainly wooden wings.

The roughly pentagonal white fields around the stars are noteworthy.

The propeller and blades seem to have had some white traces, but are mainly black.

This image is lightened from the rear right, so the dark part on the wing of the Il-2M and of the UTI-4 are the shadow of the tail.

Note the wearing of the white finish on the left wingroot, where the crew access the plane; some more wearingis also around the guns ammo hatches, where ground crew walks for reloading.

The front view shows the external bomb racks between the bomb bays under the wingroot. These devices were optional.
