This early type LaGG-3 was captured on the southern front after a gear-up landing.

It was a publicly exhibited, then loaded on a suppy train to Italy, where it never arrived. 

Its fate is unknown.

The camo looks fully standard, while its most interesting characteristic is the presence of two numbers, white 50 on fuselage and a darker 4 on the rudder.

Being the shade of 50 very variable on different photos, one can suppose that it was painted silver.

Again, we see a small red star on the stabilizator, as in use on planes built in Zavod 31.
