Nikolaj Georgievich Kuzmin was born in 1922.
He flew P-39 Airacobra within 438 iap, latter renamed to 212 giap, in a position of the Squadron commander. He achieved 8 individual victories, the last of them on March 16, 1945.

White diagonal stripe and blue propeller spinner was the fast recognition marking for 212 giap.
