Aircraft n.2115 (the 15th MiG-3 ever built) was utilized for tests at
NII-VVS from January 27 to February 26, 1941, flown
by the pilots captain A.G. Proshakov and A.G. Kochetklov.
Its characteristics look to be:

early type, without slats;
-
with radio;
-
without panels of predisposition for underwing gun pods;

painted green with light blue undersurfaces;
-
red stars on wings undersurfaces and uppersurfaces, and probably on fuselage
sides;
-
white n.15 painted on the stabilizator, parallel to ground;
-
light (blue?) pitot probe with silver end;
-
black outlined red stars in six positions (wings and fuselage);
-
silver propeller blades with partially black painted rear surface (as standard).
