This aircraft appears in 2 photos taken on March 7, 1942, when the
120th IAP of Moscow Air Defence was was made Guards as the 12th Gv.IAP;
it is the 5th of the line after the famous red 02, immediately after black
36.
The characteristics are:

late type, probably with slats;
-
worn dark white uppersurfaces and light blue undersurfaces with the radio
mast of dark color (probably green); (note: the wing undersurface probably
looks white because snow reflexion, but the undercarriage door is darker
than on aircrafts whose undersurfaces were surely white, and I think to
see the light blue demarcation line on the lower side of the fuselage);

partially clear white spinner;

overall black propeller blades;

red 39 number painted parallel to the ground, with non uniform thickness;

tail star with darker repaintings;

a red band on the top of rudder;

fixed tail wheel;

underwing rockets.
