‘White 2’ - the aircraft of commander of Moscow Military District, Pavlov as depicted during manoeuvres in 1930 with over painted uselage side stars and the white identification stripes on the rear-upper fuselage and wings.

This model is built from the 1/72nd scale model released by ‘Berkut’ (“hawk”). It is the same model that has been boxed and released Zvezda and several other eastern Europe manufacturers.

The model has a scratchbuilt cockpit and numerous small enhancements such as new tail struts made of wire. Wheel spokes came from Eduard but these are the only aftermarket accessories added. The model was airbrushed with a combination of the Humbrol and White Ensign Model Enamels. The markings were airbrushed on with handcut masks because I didn’t trust the decals over those corrugations.
