Yak-3 from 18 giap, 303 iad, Germany, spring 1945

The aircraft is camouflaged according to the NKAP 1943 order with blue-grey AMT-11 and dark grey AMT-12 on the upper surfaces with light blue AMT-7 on the bottom surfaces.

The lightning on the both fuselage sides was the divisional marking at that time. At the page with the source photos http://ava.org.ru/iap/18g.htm almost all aircraft from 1945 have white board number and lightning.
In case of b.n. “12”:
the board number is bright, probably (fresh) white,
the shade of the red star is darker than the shade of the lightning,
the outline of the red star significantly changes shade with the light, it is significantly brighter on the top than on the sides of the fuselage – it seems to be silver,
the lightning is darker than the board number but seems to have the same shade as the stars outline - it also seems to be silver.
