Yak-7B early, V.S. Mironenko, 195 iap, 324 iad

Vladimir Sergeyevich Mironenko was born in 1911. He participated within 79 iap in the battle at Khalkhin-Gol against Japan army in 1939 and latter also in Soviet-Finland War in 1939-1940 within 152 iap. He participated in the fights of GPW from June 1941. He flew LaGG-3 and P-39 Airacobra. He was assigned as commander of 195 iap in June 1943, flying Yak-7B.

He died in February 1944 in a flight accident when he was drunk (source: http://airaces.narod.ru/all11/mironenk.htm). His total score was 5 individual and 27 group victories.

 


The plane is camouflaged in the green AMT-4 and black on the upper surfaces and light blue AMT-7 on the under surfaces according to the NKAP order from the summer 1941.
