On February 22, 1945, four Yak-9U fighters were purchased at the expense of the Vakhtangov’s Theater staff and were transferred to the 29 giap.

The transfer ceremony took place at the airport of the Moscow aircraft plant no. 82. These four planes did not participate in the combat sorties during WWII.

Yak-9U, 29 giap, Moscow, February 22, 1945:

The plane is camouflaged according to the NKAP 1943 order with blue grey AMT-11 and dark grey AMT-12 on the upper surfaces with light blue AMT-7 on the bottom surfaces. Propeller spinner is light blue.
On the starboard side of the aircraft was inscribed "Vakhtangovets". However, photo is not publicly known.
The profile in the full resolution should be published in the book Soviet Fighters of the Second World War by Jason Nicholas Moore.

The ceremony of four Yak-9U handover from the Vakhtangov Theater staff to pilots from 29 giap, February 22, 1945:

On the starboard side of each aircraft was inscribed "Vakhtangovets". However, it is not visible on the photo – if the inscription was really there it was small and is hidden behind the wing:
