Title: Between the wars photo albums Post by: Apex1701 on August 09, 2011, 04:57:02 AM I just found that web site:
http://www.photo-war.com/eng/archives/listalbum33.htm (http://www.photo-war.com/eng/archives/listalbum33.htm) It's the english version. I don't know if the russian version is better. You'll find lots of between the war planes used by the VVS. Here are some samples: http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1697.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1697.jpg) http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1700.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1700.jpg) http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1698.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1698.jpg) http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1684.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1684.jpg) http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1663.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1663.jpg) and some not too early: http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1516.jpg (http://www.photo-war.com/photo/shop/1516.jpg) Enjoy. After recently finishing a book on the Russian Civil War, I'm tempted as a change of pace to model some of the very early "Bolshevik" aeroplanes. Some of the early Soviet markings were quite interesting.

Regards, Jason Two new decal sheets (available in both 1/48 and 1/72) for that era from Begemot just showed up at Hannants: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/BT4822 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/BT4823 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/BT7244 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/BT7245 John Title: Re: Between the wars photo albums Post by: learstang on August 09, 2011, 06:03:35 PM Nice decals, John. I believe Blue Rider has some of the odd, early Soviet markings in 1/72nd scale (or did I dream it?).
