From Scalemodels.ru:
http://scalemodels.ru/modules/news/img_4095_1326264244_12410__700x1024_mpm-news-12-01-5.jpg.html

No indication whether it's a new mold or a reissue of the KP Yak-23; I'd be surprised if it's the KP one, since MPM haven't borrowed any KP tooling before, to my knowledge; however, some of the kits in the seven-page news release are marked as new toolings with a red circle symbol.

A new tool Flora - sounds nice.  I already have the Yak-15 and -17, so all I need is the Yak-23 to complete my set of early Yak fighter jets.

Grin Not at all. There is not enough: Yak-19, Yak-25 (first), Yak-30(first), Yak-50(first).

The Yak-23 is definitely a "new tool" - images of the masters are posted on the Czech Modelforum.cz site:

There will also be a two-seat version.

Yes, very unfortunate - another kit for Prop&Jet to correct?  Cheesy

True! I hope they will correct some of the mistakes before it's too late. New kits of VVS aircraft, especially GPW types and early jets like the Yak-23, are not released very often, so it would be good if MPM will do it correctly.

If all manufacturers make models of Soviet aircraft are correct, accurate, high quality, it would have been happy. The bulk of the low-quality handicrafts made out of which a good model to gather hard. But they are closing this market and do good, the correct model becomes meaningless.
