Very interesting. The oblique band seems to have different colors, probably it was according to the squadron. Probably it is on the LaGG-3 too, but it is not clear.

Hi,
if the squadron of the pilots and planes is identified, one can try to understand more on the color of the oblique bands.
Besides, many of the planes don't show clearly the camouflage, so it is possible that in 1945 they were repainted in some way. I'm still in doubt if to republish the drawing of plane 99, my previous drawing represents it with uniform green uppersurfaces as some postwar planes. While it is undoubtful that it came out from the factory with two greys camo, it is unclear if it was so at the date of the photo.
