This is interesting.  A new company called Fox Models are going to come out with a 1/72nd scale IL-14.  Even more interesting is that it comes in two versions - a cheaper version without the interior, and a more expensive version (of course) with an interior.  It's not cheap, with the interior-equipped version being listed at 114.50USD, but it addresses an empty space in Soviet kits.  Although this is the "civilian" version, hopefully military versions will soon follow, and who knows, maybe if this kit is a success, they'll even come out with the IL-12 (ooh - how about the military version with the turret!).  Here's the link - http://armory.in.ua/index.php?currency=USD&osCsid=e7aef9c7a2c2f36c824712e27a97a8d7&manufacturers_id=192&sort=products_sort_order&language=en.

The appearance of a new kit manufacturer who does Russian subjects is always interesting. The price is steep, with or without interior, though. Did you look at the image of the smaller parts? They're pretty rough - very early Amodel comes to mind:

Although the wings and fuselage look reasonable:

I think they should have started with something smaller and easier, like a Yak-1b... Wink

Speaking of Amodel, they have the military IL-12 with the turret, but unfortunately it's in 1/144th scale.  I'm not going to run out and buy this IL-14 kit, especially at these prices, but it's still nice to see nonetheless.  The more Soviet subjects, the better.
