Drawing by Tapani Tuomanen
This drawing represents an UT-2 with the marks of the German Luftwaffe. The plane resembles a plane of 1938 production with short nose, for a total length of 8.00 m instead than 8.15 as for planes built since 1940.
Germans captured lots of UT-2s, usually with silver livery; so this camouflage is almost certainly made with German colors, possibly 70/02/65. (looks too contrasted for 70/71/65). The camouflage was reconstructed on the base of the photo and, where not possible, for resemblance to that of Ar-96.
