Green-nosed Il-4 with 'noch' undersurfaces, clearly darker than the black of camouflage. The undersurface painting of Il-4 passed from light blue to black as a standard because of their predominant nocturnal use.

The slogan Otvazhnyi means corageous; it's likely that it was painted on the left side too.

Note the thin line on the nose sides and just behind the wing joint, possibly a residual of a previously blue painted undersurface.
